Pick your function and up to 3 use cases, put your own numbers on them, and get the hours given back, the full-time equivalent and the value you could recover each year, plus a business case ready to present.
An AI agent ROI calculator estimates the value a team recovers when an agent takes over part of its work. Koneetiv’s calculator starts from your volumes, the time spent per occurrence and your team costs, use case by use case. The share the agent takes on is derived from the steps and their LOOP™ zone. If you enter project costs, it works out the ROI and the payback period.
Time spent today: the monthly volume multiplied by 12 and by the minutes spent on each occurrence, converted into hours per year.
Time given back: those hours multiplied by the share the agent takes on, calculated from the LOOP™ zone and weight of each of the 4 steps, then converted into full-time equivalents using your working week.
Recoverable value: those full-time equivalents multiplied by your fully loaded annual cost. If you enter the set-up and running costs, the ROI over 12 and 24 months and the payback period follow.
Not every step of a process can be handed to an agent in the same way. LOOP™, Koneetiv’s governance method, sorts them into three zones before anything goes live. It is also what sets, in the calculation, the share of time the agent takes on.
The agent acts alone, within set limits.
The agent prepares, a person approves.
The decision stays human; the agent raises the alert.
It knows nothing about your data quality, your integrations or your deployment time. It only counts time freed up, not quality gained or errors avoided. It is an order of magnitude to decide whether it is worth going further, not a quote.
No. It starts from what you enter: volume, time spent, team costs. Only the LOOP™ zone coefficients are pre-filled, and you can adjust all of them. No benchmark figure is imposed, so the result stays yours.
The calculator breaks each use case down into 4 steps, each with a LOOP™ zone and a weight in the total time. By default, the calculator assumes the agent takes over 85% of a step’s time in the green zone, 50% in the orange zone and 10% in the red zone; these assumptions are shown and can be changed, as can the zones and the weights.
It is the time needed for the monthly gain, after running costs, to repay the set-up cost. It only appears if you enter project costs, and only if the value recovered exceeds the annual running cost.
ROI compares the net gain with the costs: value recovered minus costs, divided by costs, over 12 then 24 months. The payback period divides the set-up cost by the monthly gain after running costs.
Because processes, volumes and approval rules differ from one team to another. Each function lists use cases where a Claude agent can be useful, and you can describe your own.
The working time of one full-time person. Two people each spending half their time on a process add up to one full-time equivalent.
The calculation runs in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you ask for the PDF; in that case, your entries are used to produce your business case and for a possible conversation with our experts.
The assessment measures where your organisation stands across six dimensions, from strategy to governance. The calculator puts a value on specific processes. They work together: one tells you where to start, the other what it could be worth.
